Recently it has been brought to our attention that many members are actively abusing the REPUTATION
system through bribery which they mask beneath the mantle of munificent acts of humanitarianism.

 

• What exactly is happening with this activity?
  • Members send out credits en mass to members of the forum and then request them to pay the favor back to them
    either by directly asking for them to do so or subtly implying it in a private message after having sent them a small donation of credits.
     
    
• What actions are we taking against this activity?
  • All members found guilty of having committed this act before this announcement will not receive any suspension or warning.
    Any members guilty of having committed this act after this announcement will be penalized per the severity discerned by the sanctioning faculty member.
    In addition, reputation or vouchers that have resulted from partaking in this activity shall be subject to removal, no matter when the member committed the act.
    
    
• Below is a rudimentary example of this activity
  • A member purchases 100,000 credits on the forum, and after receiving the credits, the member begins to send an infinitesimal amount of credits to forum members.
    After sending the forum member the credits,the member in question would begin composing a private message.
    This private message would request that the random forum member who had received the infinitesimal portion of credits show their appreciation of this charitable act by providing the member in question with a
    positive reputation or vouching on the forum to show appreciation for the microscopical donation.
    
   
  
  Repeated offenses of this activity can lead to permanent account suspension.
